The "Machines"2008 T2 Pontiac Solstice - 2008 & 2009 Seasons
The 2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP was built in the spring of 2008 and began its racing career at Nelson's Ledges in May 2008. This car finished 3rd in T2 at the 2008 SCCA Runoffs in Topeka, Kansas. It also had three track records in 2008 - Mid Ohio, Indy and Gratton. 2002 T2 Camaro Z-28 - through 2007 season
The car is an '02 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 (35 Anniversary Edition) #33 T2 and was originally built by Tom Oates at Tiger Racing . It competed in the 2002 Runoffs and won the T2 National SCCA Championship. It also set the Mid Ohio track record in 2002. The car ran a full 2007 season, and is receiving all updates for the 2008 season. Engine: LS-1 Corvette with Z06 intake, HP 280, torque 275 Transmission: stock 6 speed Air Induction: K & N Rear End: Auburn Limited Slip Brake Pads: Carbotech Brake Pads Exhaust: Custom 2 1/2" Exhaust Computer is "Bone" Stock Roll cage is 1.5" DOM and TIG welded with NASCAR bars and petty bar.
